Tallulah Academy provides an exceptional education for students beginning with a Pre-K3 program for 3 year old students and also a Pre-4 program which prepares students for kindergarten. Grades K-6 receive instruction from certified teachers who build a foundation of solid academics, critical thinking skills, and organizational/ study skills. Grade level expectations emphasize knowledge as well as maturity and responsibility.
The emphasis on organization and responsibility is heightened in junior high. Students in 7th and 8th grade move into the high school hall and attend 7 class periods each day. The core subjects are the basis for a curriculum that includes technology and physical education.
The core 4 model is used in grades 9 - 12, allowing students to choose between the Basic Core and the TOPS Core Curriculum in preparation for the demands of college work. Dual enrollment opportunities are available for juniors and seniors who meet the university's requirments.
